Manchester United thread

In the words of the great Jimmy Greaves "It's a funny old game" nothing is certain and the game always throws up some surprises. You know like Leicester City as Premiership Champions and things like "You'll never win anything with youngsters".
If everything is so clear cut maybe you should put your money on the football pools.

It's open to you as well if you're confident. £100 is the bet.

Utd wont win the League next year as a rebuild is needed (again), hopefully it will be done right this time and as to whether OGS is the man to oversee this only time will tell.

Personally I reckon we are 3-4 seasons away from challenging consistently for top honours.

Janobi, my reply is meant to say that absolutely nothing in football is certain and as to United winning the League next year I would put that as unlikely, we had a great run of success that lasted longer than any teams in the past and a downturn of fortunes had to be expected the moans about results are mainly coming from those who have known nothing but success and they would definitely not have supported United back in the 70's and 80's which was my era for attending as many matches as possible. But with the money and talent available we should be challenging for Champions League places most seasons.

Totally mate, I remember SAF being a game away from being sacked, I remember Big Ron being in charge. I think it's endemic of modern football today, with the massive wages players earn and the long contracts, they're not that bothered when they're not played, they just move to another club. I still think you're 3-4 players off a good side, even OGS said yesterday you were lucky to beat West Ham, and they're not exactly brilliant, but they battered you yesterday. No doubt some other fan will say that's crap and offer reasons as to why ><

OGS has won 1 in 6 (All competitions) I think it is atm, has the fact that he's got the job perm changed things at the club? He will however go down in history with his initial record and rightfully so, but it proved how poorly Mourinho was doing at the club with the players he had at his disposal.

Having watched both the UNited match and the City match I think the winner of the upcoming derby will be whichever team the ref gives the most penalties and offside goals to

I've no doubt that utd will raise their game against city, and they play counter attacking football at home, so they may be able to hit them on the break, but city are very very good at breaking sides down, and the smallest of mistakes could cost Utd. That, and an offside goal or two ;)

Am just watching the Everton Man U match I must say that pink really does suit MaN u.

Although they have butched it up with black shorts and socks, I really think that they should have gone double pink.

And the guys on the bench look really pretty in pink

And here they are prctising their pata cake

Well there's no words that don't contain expletives to describe that drivel no matter how red your glasses are tinted :(
You are being very calm wiz.If that was me I would be ripping gasman hair out by now.😳

Im sure Gasman will have a very different view... Have to say that Everton (Super bluenoses) batter Utd :D

Tbh I'm lost for words or explanations as to why we cant string a pass together or why it takes till the 85 minute against Everton for our first strike on target, I wouldn't be a great analyst or reader of a game of football in fairness but it looks to me like there is a rot in the club that maybe has passed down from above, I would love somebody more intelligent to try give some insight into why they think its all gone wrong.

When Gastradamus comes back off his hiatus all will be explained🤔😉
