Ive got a opticum 80cm dish with three lnbs and disses switch. Firstly, i see most people fit their switch outside with dish. All my cables go straight into attic so is it ok for switch to be there...?

Ive looking at pictures of how the lnb is setup, 19.2 in the middle, 28.2 to the left and 13 on the right.

But my dish is set to 28.2 already and it is swung as right you can get it so to align to 19.2 I need to move dish to the left so does that not mean 28.2 should be the right hand lnb

Thats the bracket on ebay i bought and sat cure shows the same setup, 28.2 on the left.

I have a meter, should i put in bbc world frequency details to align dish to?

You could leave the dish aimed at 28.2e and put 19.2e 13e at the side .. just means 13e will be a bit lower & might have a problem with some channels

Definitely better to put 19.2° in the middle if it's possible though as the dish's gain drops off dramatically the further you get from the prime focus.
And yes, put the BBC's freq etc. into your meter.
As you face the dish, it'll be 28.2°, 19.2° and 13° going from left to right. And yes, good idea to put DiSEqC switch in the attic, keep it warm & dry!

Edit: As you stand behind the dish, you'll want to move it to the right to aim it at 19.2°e.

Ok, dish is up. I have three lnbs mounted in the manner they are supposed to be. I just aligned it for 28.2e for now. My elevation is lower than its supposed to be. It should be 20.1 degrees but its about 16 or 17, the dish is actually pointing downwards lol

Ive done a few dishes before and always 20.1. But this bracket im using the vertical part of the pole does not sit straight. For it to be perfectly plum, i would have to loosen the two top bots from the bracket which i don't think is a good idea.

I think this will affect me getting 19.2 but not sure, it requires an elevation of 24.9.

This is my bracket here.

Should be a perfect right angle but the short vertical pole actually runs towards wall plate, making angle smaller.

Loosen them and put some packers behind the plate and tighten them back up m8

The 'plumbness' of your pole doesn't matter as you can compensate for it with the dish elevation adjustment, it's only critical for a motorised setup. It won't affect the ability to pick up 19.2°e.

It's still good practice to plumb the mount, even if it's not on a motor. The angles on AZELs etc

Yea because it looks strange the dish pointing downwards...lol

Only way I can get it right is loosen the two top bolts and tighten bottom bolts more but I don't want to do that.

I'm going to get it aligned to 19.2. you need 24.9 elevation for 19.2 so I'd say I'll be looking around 20 degrees for my setup.

6 cables for 28.2, 1 cable for 19.2 and 1 for 13 degrees.

How do these go into diseq switch
