Believe it or not but reports this morning suggest that there is another two year contract being offered to Wenger , if that is the case then the board are taking the fans for mugs and the games should be boycotted its the only way to get the message across, according to reports on Arsenal fan tv there were scuffles among arsenal fans during yesterdays game over the whole wenger in and out saga, time to go Arsene.
I believe the offer was made around Christmas time or even earlier but as per usual Wenger won't sign it until the end of the season.
IMO he should of went when we won the FA Cup in 2013/14 but his ego and the amount of money that was on offer was too great to turn down. The board will never sack him as long as he continues to get us into the top 4, obtaining all that CL TV money and increasing the share price.
We are pissed off with the ticket prices, the inconsistent performances, the lies about moving to the Emirates "to compete with the other top European clubs" & the so called "100 to 200 million pound war chest", the purchase/non purchase of players and of course the verbal crap that comes out of Wenger's mouth - We are mentally strong, this is the best squad I've ever had, we will fight until the last minute.
But unfortunately there are 10's of thousands of fans ready to buy a season ticket and if they don't buy then we have supporters clubs from abroad coming week in week out, I 1st saw them in the early 90's mainly from Scandinavia.
There has been a divide among fans for a while now and it was mainly vocal and across social media but I have seen scuffles over the last year becoming more frequent.
The blame for this is down to Wenger and I can't believe people still defend him, he has had the time, the money, the players and the opportunity to buy top notch or Premier League quality players but no he thinks the transfer price is too high or their wages were too high but not his own.
Arsenal are financially bigger, better and more known club thanks to Wenger but Arsenal was here before Wenger and will be here after Wenger, we were the top London club when Wenger came and now we are currently the 3rd best London club in the league.
AKBs say that Wenger hands have been tied and that is why he hasn't been successful as he should have been as mega rich clubs have "bought trophies". Well we have 2 billionaires at the club 1 won't spend and the other is not allowed to spend, in the last 10 years Portsmouth & Wigan won the FA Cup and Cardiff, Everton & Stoke managed to get to the final before we won it in 2013/14, and of course Leicester won the Premier League last season. This is proof money and finishing in the top 4 does not buy/lead you to glory, good or great players (which we do have), good motivation, tactics (which Wenger doesn't have) can win you trophies.
They also say look what happened to Man Utd, well since Fergie left we have beaten them once in 7 league games, this is still a Moyes/LGV team not a Mourhino team yet, Chelsea, Man City have sacked many managers but also won many trophies with a new manager because they have new ideas and tactics i.e. have a plan B, C & D.
Wenger is the oldest and most experience manager in the league but can not adapt or change when his plan/tactics doesn't work, all he does is change the players around the 70th minute of every game.
I cannot predict the future but if and when a new manager comes in you cannot imagine that his team will play as badly as we did in our last 3 league games against Burley/Watford (mid table fodder) & Chelsea (would be champions).
