Hi guys.

Looking for some advice.
I have a new Samsung TV connected in my living room. When Iscan for channels it will only pick up the Irish stations and none of the ukones.
All the tv outputs are built into the wall in each room, if Imove the tv to one of the other rooms it finds all channels no problem.?

sounds like the tv output in the room is causing the problem, try opening the output socket just to make sure the cable from the aerial is connected correctly and that the shield is not touching the center pole of the cable

Knowing your location might help us diagnose the problem. Are you in NI or west coast of UK by any chance?

Well you've probably got the best choice there m8, just point your outside aerial N, E or S depending on whether you want NI, English or ROI channels. And make sure it's connected to the wall plate(s).

thanks Trevor thing that baffles me is, if it was the wall plate it would not pick up the stations im currently receiving, like I said before all TV points are coming off the same ariel,I remember from the past ,the tv man ran a cable directly from the Ariel into the problematic room.this is probably why he done this?
