You don't turn it off (well i don't anyway )
As for the wifi my first box connected great but my second would detect the wifi connection but wouldn't actually connect.
Had to try it 3 or 4 times before it would work, what made it strange was the second box was in the same room as the superhub.

my wifi has suddenly started working on the now tv box lol absolutely nothing has changed so know of no reason why lol

Ah right cheers I was thinking this as got everything apart from a power button. The reason you could be having wifi probs could be down to a lot of other people around you using the same wifi channel there's a app for Android and IOS that does a audit I think they call it and you can work it out off that its not that hard to do either if I remember right it tells you what you need to know but I can't remember the name lol sorry about that it may even have audit in the title if I remember I'll post back later but tbh I don't even use my SuperHub for wired connections they are crap I believe the new one is loads better my superhub is modem only mode I hate it tbh

The app is 'inssider' I changed channel a few times thinking that was the issue, but it wasn't, anyway all good now and well worth the ten pounds.

i have been playing with this box now and finding it vary good ,my only problem is i can not get ss plex to work i keep getting errors

i am running an ubuntu 12.10 server

i have installed the plug in to

/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/ss-plex.bundle/

but eash time i try and watch something i get this error

The media server responded with an error.

anyone have any clues ??

I have never tryied plex is it something like xbmc could i use it to watch offsidestreams

Yes mate its like xbmc but I don't know how you add streams I've never looked into it but I have no doubt you can. I'm using it instead of xbmc and streaming from my Debian server which is running plex media server to the now tv box.

sorry did not make that to clear,i have plex installed and running fine on my ubuntu server but i am now trying to install ss-plex plug in to my server and it coming up with that error

Ah right sorry mate I can't help you at the moment then but I will do soon if no one else can, I didn't know about the ss-plex plug-in so I will try to add that to mine today I've installed them before but I can't remember how at the minute I have the unofficial appstore plug-in installed on my server which I have no doubt was installed the same way so Ill try post back asap

I think lorrebreaker is right mate I just tried to update my apps and it said there was a error. From what I gather you just unzip it to the right place the only thing I can think of is it could be a permissions problem. I just checked my server now and ss-plex plugin is part of the unsupported appstore and it looks like I have installed it a while back. Have a look here mate see if it helps any Link

@Mods if there is a problem with me posting the link I will edit and post the info instead at first chance.

am i at the right place here,

C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Plug-ins

only thing i can find regarding plugins, will have another look now.

EDIT: never mind i found it, by right clicking the tray icon and opening plug ins folder, lol, thanks!

Add unsupported apps folder, start plex, goto the unsupported apps channel, add whatever you like from there, all the instructions are in this thread if you get stuck.

I can confirm ss-plex is now working again and has updated last nights tv programs, including X-Factor for any sad soul interested in it lol

Hi mate if you have a go to the link in my post (#151) there is a how to, to install the unsupported appstore and the plugin can be downloaded from there too.

It's worth mentioning that if anyone else is looking to install ss-plex they might as well install install the unsupported appstore because when that's installed you can install ss-plex plugin from there plus icefilms etc

cheers guys, got, icefilms, navi-x, let me watch this, ss-plex and the unsupported appstore on and seem to be working fine from the little mess about iv had, just need to set it all up again on my acer revo as thats just gunna stay on all the time and be my server, all my files stored on my nas, and im sorted, got plex on my smart tv and got the now tv box in my bedroom, got some tinkering too do and that should be me sorted, happy days, easily pleased.

is there anyway of getting footy streams through plex does anyone know as that what just be excellent.
