Hello Mate,

Whats your budget like?

I have a few IBM Lenovo t61 thinkpads knocking about at home, in as new condition and I'm pretty sure they have a serial port, off the top of my head, I believe them to have 4gb of ram, 80gb HD and a core 2 duo processor!

I'm looking around £100 for each of them and will supply them with official Win 7 and MS office software installed on them.

Can confirm full specs for you later this evening if you are interested?

Right, just checked, the t61 I found that it's stuck in safeboot, so guna sell it for parts, no use to you guys - the other 2 I found were a t400 and a t43.

The t400 is ready to go, in fine condition as per the pictures attached, 4gb ram, 150gb HDD, core 2 duo p800 @ 2.53GHz processor. Loaded with win 7 32bit and office 2007.

The t43 however has a few scratches on the lid, need to find a charger for it and put an O/s on it, once that's done I'll let u'all know the specs and put it up on here!

Everyone that contacted me about the t61's, let me know if you are interested in the t400 for the same price instead?

I use to use a dell d500 for everything it has a serial and a lpt port you can pick them up cheap
Put 2 gig of ram in it running xp will be able to do everything you need

I have the T410 for work, hate it with a passion, too slow, screen too small to use Visio, battery life non existent..

Wish they would go back to HP instead of IBMs trash

Just get a USB to serial converter, that's what I always used.
