Well I found and joined this forum because I found something I needed doing a google search.
I am trying to resolve a problem and I'm anxious to get it done but now am compelled to make 5 posts.
This is my first post and will have to find something else to respond to all the while I'm thinking I just need this download for right now.
I think the forum is great and do plan on repeated visits but to someone just coming here for the first time looking for a fix I find this 5 post rule frustrating.
It's feels as though I was lured here with the prize dangling in my face and now have to do tricks to earn my prize.
This doesn't make me feel very welcomed.
I understand why you do it but there is always another point of view I hope you consider.

I 'think' if you actually read the first post in this thread it states that any posts made in the 'who are you' section do not count toward your post count for the 5 you require

Apart from intro posts don't count, that defeats the object of forum members posting useful info or requesting info rather than downloading files and running.

yh i had the same problem early.....i was trying to download thz file. even thought i did post 5 time it still woundnt let me downloadin.so just still keep postingOk. That is why I cannot download anything.I will better start posting

Yh me 2 my english iznt that gd...bt wat u do is just reply or ask questions more then 5 timez den u will b able to download the file

U dont have to create thread or post...just reply posts thats it. Bt the problem is you can only download 1 file a day in ever 5 post...so for example lf u do 10 post then you can download 2 files a day

Well my post count is up to 14 now.
A few posts in sections that don't count but I'm sure I surpassed the minimum.
Currently I'm still unable to download, edit posts, check my profile, etc.
I've waited all day, logged out and back in several times, attempted some back flips, read allot of posts in different sections, etc.
What does it take to finally become welcomed as full member?

Although I wasnt really waiting to download anything in particular, i just wanted to edit my profile, it still took a few days after my 5 posts before i got my permissions, the guys in admin may have been busy, just be patient it will get done.

I cannot lie. At present I do not have the necessary knowledge to contribute useful information to your forums
I have joined here because I am a newbie and I am looking for an answer to some specific problems
I have more than an average knowledge of computers but no experience with setopboxes
