Here you go guys, not my proggy so thanks to original developer. This little thing is hard to come by.

This will unlock your Dell computer whether it is BIOS or HDD master password.

You need to enter the full Asset number including the "-" for the BIOS and the first ** for the HDD password.

Even works with the dreaded 595B models.

Dell wont help

Hello All,

My problem is the BIOS password on my Dell Inspiron N4110. I purchased it new and have no recollection of setting this password. My girlfriend attempted to get into the setup screen and was prompted for a BIOS password. It appears to a common list of symptoms. Asks for password as it shows a hint code. After 3 failed attempts it shows an error code. I am able to do anything else I choose on the machine so its more of a nuisance than anything. I went the Dell support route and after an entire morning of their "Help" the Dell solution is to send me a box to ship them my computer so they can swap motherboards at their expense.

I would prefer to find an alternative solution if any exist as I cant imagine scrapping this otherwise perfectly functioning machine. Its so fast and operates so smooth Im just afraid it wont be if they get their hands back on it. Thanks in advance for any insight on what I could do.

Hi all, i've been searching for some help with a dell inspiron 1300 Ive been given it by a freind that has upgraded his laptop because he could'nt get past the white screen asking for an authentication password. I've tried the generator from the start of this thread but either it dosn't work or im doing something wrong so any help would be much appreciated

Dell XPS L502X BIOS password

My problem is the BIOS password on my Dell XPS L502X. when i turn on it Asks for password as it shows a hint code. After 3 failed attempts it shows an error code.I am unable to do anything.
I went the Dell support but they don't help me becuse my warranty is expire.

one more question , the serial 5fk8be6l unlocks the pc but when i restart the pc it locks out to the white screen again and i have to re type the password . Is this normal for a dell pc or is there a way to make it start up without the authentication screen.

Hello

Im still unable to reset my BIOS password. I tried a few codes from the unlock code generator and also one that smoggie said to try. Its a Dell inspiron N4110 with the A12 BIOS on it. My service tag is 7DBQQS1. If I get nowhere over the weekend I will just send it to Dell for the new motherboard. I used to love Dell but now I think I will never do business with them again.

figured it out i think, turned it off in the bios
