Has anyone got these ??

its got really hot hot on the hukdeals.
i ordered one today, got it for 88.99 for some reason the guy knocked down 21 quid instead of 20.

getting the delivery tmrw, so shall see what its like

Yep i saw it last week and also read about it on an android forum where people had managed to already hack the phone, I think this is why it got hot.

Seems like a good buy for the specs and the posssiblilty of hacking it further for a sub £100price. I was going to get one untill I changed my mind and bought the 90p nokia from the link on this forum :) untill I decide which smrtphone to get. Maybe a desire or a galaxy

I did fancy getting a desire, but then htc decided to launch desire hd and z versions, so i thought, well lets try android os first, and see how it works, and there is always another day of an expensive handset.

thanks for your reply, cheers

Well from what I have read last week you will not be disapointed for the price if you just want to see what android is like and if i remeber right it also has android 2.1 on it too :)

just ordered one, should be here Wed

anyway to unlock this and get rid of all the orange customisation.

ordered cos was curious about how the android os compares to the iphone, and for the money its pretty good. Unlocked, Rooted and reflashed the SF and its a pretty good device, a little sluggish at times but i really do like the customisability of android over iOS. Don't get me know the iPhone still a good phone and really quick and snappy, but andoid seems like the next level.

i def would say its a good entry level toy for experiencing android at a very cheap price

does get a bit slow, but i suppose doesnt happen in the htc desire

here is a quick screenshot of my home screen.. its been fun so far

bought one for the mrs and wee girl, its running pauls r3 image on modaco after i rooted and flashed it seems to be running fine, not sure when 2.2 will be available for it but it should be good enough to run it.. superb kit for the money

that was - sense live wall paper
and downloaded the fancy widget 1.3

and you need the launcher pro to get those buttons on the bottom

there is a whole thread on modaco on these custom screens
