DM500C in SG

Hi all, I bought a DM500c for use in SG. Was forced by circumstances to venture around for working method as the set i got has only default DM500C eginma software and no capabilities to scan for local channels.

Did bunch of reading up and found that i'll need image file for use in SG. Wonder if anyone here is able to host the file for my download.

Also, read that using ethernet via router is an alternative to null modem cables. is it true? if so, i'll just need to set ip on both sets to 'synchro'?

i m not v sure abt it..
u connect the ethernet cable to the box, and ur router will assign ip to it..
then use ur comp to do the work..

anyway.. can u pm me where u bought ur dm500c?
