i know you cant use the carts that work with ds lite with dsi but why not

Whaa? Surely it's only some games that don't work on it... sure that's what I heard... there would be hardly any point in buying one if no DS games worked on it!!
because the dsi has anti piracy measures built into it, that are not present in ds/dslite.
a cart designed for dsi will work on ds and ds light, but not vice versa..

ace card 2 are compatable with ds and dsi with the latest firmware loaded on to it

yes, i have an r4 and m3 card with wood firmware which i use in ds and an acekard with akio firmware which i use for dsi
