Had a very Lucky Escape

Was doing a bit of staff training yesterday , shrub prunning.

Siding up the side of a bed , taking about 2ft off the front when my hedge trimmer caught what i thought was an old deflated football.

Then my brain kicked in, massive rush of adrenaline, realised i had cut into a wasps nest and ran like F*ck.

Not a single sting,lol

4 of the other lads around me got stung.

I realise how lucky i am as that could have gone very badly indeed!

No....he was training them how to run like fek and not get stung, some never learned quick enough I guess...roud:

I had a pet wasp last year, it was making a nest on my shed. If I knocked on the door it would come out to see what was going on. #
Had to evict it in the end because I regularly needed access to the shed.

They can throw them nests up really quickly, they start off like golfball size and before you know it theyre like a football.

I've only been stung once, felt like someone stubbing a cigarette on the back of my neck.

I had one hand up the back of my shirt ond the other stuck down the collar trying to find where it went. Some couple drove past looking at me with puzzled expressions as I was jumping about a bit.

I got stung on the instep part of my foot few years ago when 1 was on a towel,
couldn't walk on it for days.
hate the feckers even if they wear the Wolves colours lol

Walked out my house last week and every car in the street was covered in them.Probably feeding on the tree sap that drops on the cars.
I walked very slowly and quietly, doubt I would have creased rice paper,lol.

Don't know about pruning the hedgerow, bet you felt a bit of a prune yourself.

How were the one's who got stung mate, I got stung as a kid in the tear duct by a bee ended up in hosp to get sting out.
