Get this, i have been a customer of bank of scotland for over 20 years and currently have my mortgage with them.
I recently finished a loan so went to see them for another to consolidate the rest of the debts i had left over from seperating from the ex.
They offered a rate of 17.7% on a 12 grand loan i was well pissed off with that when they sent me a letter through saying i had a reserved amount at 11.4%.

I applied through sainsbury's bank and got accepted for the loan right away at a rate of 7.8%.

this is a difference of over 5 grand in interest payments!!!!

This is daylight fucking robbery.
For anyone else give lloyds/bank of scotland/halifax a miss as they are the crooks of the high street.

Don't get me started on lloyds, worst bank in the world.....
They don't reward loyalty in fact it's just like you say "daylight robbery" is what they are good at.

I say that cos my wife has had an account with them since she was a little girl.
When she returned to the UK and requested an upgrade on her account they treated her like a terroist. So she made an internal complaint nothing happened, but then she made another complaint suddenly her account was upgraded.

i worked for bos, do u know that sainsburys are underwritten by bos? work that out.

sainsbury's bank are 50/50 owned by lloyds group and sainsbury's
that's the thing that pissed me off most.
just unbelievable what goes on in the banking sector
