iPhone Why won't unlocked iphone work in '3' network

Any idea's why get invalid sim when I put a '3' sim in my unlocked iphone ?

And is there anything I can do to make it work ?

if your iphone is a 2g it wont work as 3 network only have 3g sims

Is it definately unlocked? Will it accept other sims? Just check to make sure.

i unlocked my daughters iphone 3g originally on orange to work her 3g sim took a few goes but has now been unlocked for 3 months , u using the ultasn0w repo "repo666.ultrasn0w.com" , what version iphone do u have m8

Cheers everyone it's a 2g that will be the problem then , it's deffo unlocked as other sims work on it.

So If I buy a Iphone 3gs I should be able to unlock it and put my '3' sim in it ?

What prog should I be using to 'unlock' the phone , when I did my 2g I used Zibri's program ?

Depends on the installed FW mate, what will allow you to JB it an unlock it.
