i work for a retil company who is due to has a full store stock count . i have been asked if i want any of the returned ps3 for £50 each i have booked a 80 fat with the drive not working and a 250g slim but dont know what s wrong with it due think there are worth the money?

the 80gb will need a new laser, £40. is it boxed? with controllers? to be honest, it's probably the going rate for the fatty 80gb - if you're getting a slim 250gb for 50 - thats pretty good.

my 80gb needed a new laser which cost me £41 off fleabay - it's a common fault. you'll make it back on ebay even if u can't fix it.
as for the slim, not sure how they go faulty - still DEFO worth the money even broke. u can get min £20 for the controllers themselfs then 60+ for console alone........

Even if they never work again it's still a bargain!
You'll get far more than the £50 you paid if you either flog them on eBay or strip down and sell the parts.
