Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could give me a little bit of info on a R4 card.

My cousin has sent me one to sort out for him but i cant seem to get it working?

Its for a DS lite and im thinking the card he has got is for the DSi?

Here is the pic of the card:

If anyone could tell me if this is the rite card or not and where i can get the latest software for it.

Thanks in advance

Ray

If you can't get the firmware from the url on the card you could try linfoxdomain, they seem to have most versions for R4 cards.
Good luck with it,
HH.

should be fine for a DS lite

what size of sd card have you got for it, early r4's would only take up to 2gb

attached a format program for sd cards use this before you add any firmware.

mines has 3 folders and 3 files

folders moonmemo. moonshl2, R4iMenu
files _DS_MENU, _DS_MSHL, R4.dat
also find it simpler to add games folder to store all games makes it easier to add and remove.

Cant i just drag and drop them on to the card as you do with the edge card???

you can if you want m8. games folder is just my personal taste. plus wood software on original r4 you need games folder might be a good idea for your cousin to pick up an original r4 with a 2 gig sd if he can. my kids play all the latest games on old r4's and keep older games they want to play on newer cards. sounds daft but it works.
