Last Saturday I bought a R4 card from a shop even checked it was working before leaving the shop' got home and plugged micro sd reader into computer, did not work. so today I knew I would be passing same shop and stuck reader in my pocket.

went into the shop and spoke to the same bloke who sold me it. now you would think this would be a simple thing to sort, just open another r4 and swap the thing over. not a chance, first thing was have you got a receipt, no because you never gave me one. have you got original packaging, yes in the house, well you need to bring that in. so I said, if I have to go home and bring original package in then I would want a full refund and go elsewhere.

his reply don't threaten me, I said I never threatened anyone just said I would want a refund. he started ranting and about 6 of his staff most who seemed to be family gathered round. so being outnumbered 7 to 1, I tried the I'll ask a Policeman to sort it knowing he might just think twice and change it to save the hassle of explaining to the plod what the cards are for'

not a chance the fecker threatened me with the Police saying he would say I was Racist and he had witnesses to prove it. and told me to get out his shop and don't come back.

so had to back away from situation.

what would you do? The thing is only worth about a quid.

would you forget it?

or maybe take a couple of pix of his shop and windows where he has them on display, and wind him up telling him your e-mailing Nintendo?

Put it back in it's packaging and go back with a witnesses and get a refund.

I tried to use my dictaphone, but found it a lot easier using my finger to dial.

This is the worst shop you could ever go to for car stuff. bought a dvd player for my car from here which didnt work and went back to the shop with it asked for my money back as had bought the dvd player the day before and the staff refused had to call tranding standards who advised me to send the manager a letter asking for full refund sent letter recorded delivery and waited 14 days for a reply nothing back from the shop so had to call trading standards again who went to the shop and advised that i had to return the item back to the shop so they could send it away for the compnay to check it was given timescale of 21 days for the shop to reply to me 25 days pass and had to contact the shop to find out what was happening with my refund and the manager told me to contact trading standards so done that and they contacted them and the shop said there was nothing wrong with the item but will give me a refund by chq even though i paid by cash so I refused this and back tranding standers had to go to the shop again its now been 47 days and still no refund for my broken item this shop is the worst i have ever had to deal with so beware when buying something in here. trading standers have been really good to deal with.

Time we refrained from using there premises just to buy cheaper products but this being rip off Britain, can't see it happening.

Not all shops are the same and there are some very good and reliable ethnic premises.

Take all the requested items back to the shop and as suggested record the conversation for evidence if get refusal.

Maybe the more mature thing to do is to go back with the packaging and demand a refund, don't leave until they have given you the refund and don't rise to the 'racism' bait. Let them call the police, that's fine, maybe even take the online review with you to show the policeman if they do call them.
