Hi folks,

ive got a pace box model ds440n and its connected to my sky dish. It does not give me all of the free view channels. its keeps displaying a messege saying i need a new card. when i checked the link on the web, sky are asking for £20 to renew the card which i think is quite cheeky.

Is there any way i can change settings to pick up the free view channels?

regards to all,

There isnt anyway to get the channels without a freesat card..

you get them from sky at a cost of £20.. call 08442 410 595 and ask Sky directly, they will send it out to you within a week..

i think it might be a con but does anyone if this is possible?
seen it on flebay, cheers guys
Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing.
Have you lost ITV, BBC, channel 4 and Five from your Sky freesat recently? Well I found out a way to get them back without the need of buying a white card which is likely to cost you £20+. This method should work on all Sky boxes. You are also likely to receive the following channels (list below)!!

You dont need a card to get Free Satellite channels from 28E. Astra.
All the BBC ITV and Chanel 5 4 etc are free to Air.. Any satellite decder will pick up these channels.
You can pick up a free tp air decoder anywhere Maplin ect from £30.
All you need is a dish pointing to 28E the Sky channels also come from this Satellite but they are incripted..

You can add them to your digibox 'other channels' by way of a manual search.

Why is this post in Freeview section and not satellite?
