Do you know what, I never thought I'd create a thread in this room, but f*ck me I'm fuming.

Live joined nextdoor to a familly with three kids, two girls and one little lad about 8. Their front garden is just grass which they can hardly be arsed to cut, and we look after ours, you know, take a bit of pride, got a boarder with flowers in and what have you.

Now, he normally only plays with a fly away footy, and I don't mind if it goes on our side the odd time and he shows a bit of respect walking on to pick it up, ie, not kick it off. But today they thought no one was in, and you should have seen the piss taking going on... Booted it against the window twice, all over the garden like it is Old Trafford, then seen one of them kicking it against the car.

They nearly shat their pants when I almost broke the window banging on it looking like a rabbid animal.

But you know what, I don't blame them, they are only kids. I blame the parents who must be f*cking sat there watching them do it. Comes over again I'm gonna grab it and tell the lad to send his dad round for it. What a f*cking poor excuse of a man and a parent, not teaching them about respect for other people... He is a total knuckle draggin moronic p*ssy... the sort who thinks he is Superman after a few cans of Stella.

You know, this used to be a nice estate before they moved in. If they're not running all over the garden, cave man has got the eld cinema surround sub woofer system on, because I assume he thinks we love listening to him watch a film or play on his xbox... you know, who wouldn't... what a f*cking privalage!!!!

Makes you sick how there are people in the world who want kids and can't have them and would make cracking parents... Then there are arseholes like this who drop'em like he thinks he is cleaver making a baby and brings them up with the values of an animal.

F*cking fuming...

(sorry about the bad language and display of anger - I needed the therapy!! And the title should read 'who, have kids' - the testosterone was surging through my vains!)

ever thought of knocking on the door and saying '' what is going on '' or can you keep the sound down and ask the kids to not play footy on my lawn or boot it off the car
you never know he might even ( as i would ) give the kids a telling off and keep the sound done
you never mentioned doing this so sorry if i get the wrong end of the stick
but i have had the next door knock on and my kids dont do it any more or else
regards

We've banged on the wall 100's of times, he turns it down, shouted at the kids, and he has witnessed it, then he jumps in and gives them a quick telling off to make himself look good - but they still do both time and time and time again. You would have to be pretty thick to forget daily that it's not nice trapes over other people's gardens and crank the sub woofer up!!!

And he's sat there watching them - I'm not the bad guy here!!

Like I say though, taking the ball next time and tell the kid if he wants it back to send his dad over to get...

A nice mesh fence says "I don't like you" quite well.

sorry if you think i implied you were in the wrong m8 dont think you are tbh think some people need to be told enough is enough one way or the other my first reply was only the starter
if all else fails pull him in the street and say fooking knock it off or else
regards

We used to have neighbours that kept the football and never gave it back. They must have got a right collection of them over the years lol

Dunno about banging on the wall tbh, that would just piss me off. I would prefer someone to actually come and say it to me. Have you checked into complaining to the council (not sure if they are the right people) about noise pollution?

Lol, nothing says I love you like a mesh fence... Also say, look out, chav alert too... Over the years you just notice more and more anti social behavour and disrespectful children. They should have some kind of record kept where people like this are forced to all live with each other. They could have big street parties where they all nearly kill and out chav each other!

No mate, just that they chose to have kids and so I think it's their responsability to bring them up and teach them right from wrong, not mine. Yeah, thing is mate this outburst probably doesn't paint me in a very good light. I'm more than capable of knocking 10 bells out of him but that just isn't the way, I prefer to be a pasafist and doing that would probably make matter worse x10 and I'd be up in court while he is sat in chair playing the xbox with a big gring on his face... so that wouldn't be very smart. Last resort, selfdefence only.

Kicking the ball over then fence the odd time is one thing, kids will be kids at the end of the day, so your old neighbours might have been a bit petty there, but an almost daily display of insulance and disrespect for other people is different story.

Well, I'd love to go round and talk to them about it, but they are not that sort of people. He is really anti social, never laughs, never smiles, and benevolant communication lines broke down years ago I'm afraid. The wife won't say boo to him and just submits to his every whim. To be fair, you do hear her sometimes telling them to turn it down, but not nearly often enough.

I'd like to think that if I was taking the piss with loud noise and someone banged on the wall, I would myself feel embaraced, turn it down, and repay the respect of the symbiotic housing we share and keep it down in the future!

Council and police are always there, but I think if you report your neighbours for being noisy or anti social, that you have to declare that fact to who ever you are going to sell it to - which is not good...

There are just some horrible, horrible people in the world... Where did all go wrong?!?!

Thing is a lot of people forget what they did when they were kids, as adults it's easy to think the kids are being personal towards you, think back m8 are they really that bad ? you would of really hated me if I lived next door when I was a nipper lol :)

We had a young lad here who caused loads of trouble in our road when he was between 12 and 17, he is a proper nice lad now ;)

Not having a go at you just trying to say think on ;)

Take him down the park for a kick about then shame the parents for not doing it.

You never know, you might enjoy it.

If there was a tahnks button...

When i was a lad we lived down a culdesac if i played on my frint the neighbours opposite told us to bugger off. So we went down the other end of the street, they came out and said "bugger off down your own end" I said i am down my own end. And this guy hit me in the face with a stick. I was about 10 and i stared him out lol. Id love to go round there now age 29 6' 3" and 18 stone and go hi remeber me im the kid you hit with a stick for playing with a football near your house! Bae in mind i did nothing to him nor his property.

I hate 8 year old children playing football too.

Is there no way you could summon the undead to throw orbs at the family until they stop?

Mummy said I was good boy, lol. That's what I meant before by this post probably might not at first glance paint me in a very good light, like I'm Victor Meldrew or something.

Been putting up with it for ages man, let it slide loads of times when they run over the garden, inocent enough, and they get away with booming the house with the sub woofer much more often than we bang on the wall... Probably only bang on the wall after every 50 times they do it when you think, feck this, I'm entitled to some peace...

You know, I'm very patiant and understanding by nature, but what I witnessed today was these kids thought that no one was in, and the piss taking levels went over the top. They were not picking the ball up from the garden, they were using the garden for football like it was their own - kicking the ball against the flowers which would break easily. Kicking it against the window, and using the car as something to rebound the ball off... all while Mr and Mrs mop where sat there. They haven't got any blinds or nets so they have an HD widescreen view.... That is what really p*ssed me off...

He is basically teaching his son that if no one is there to see you being a pr*ck, then that's alright... That's wrong and out of order...

Only leprecons can throw orbs, everyone knows that. They need the magic silver net of Atlantis to catch them first.

Bang on mate, we have 2 massive fields 10 minutes walk down the road. The man is too lazy to pull himself away from his xbox. They have a massive Dalmation too, which seems to be the most well behaved member of the family which is odd becasue they can barely be arsed to take the poor animal out for a walk but once every 2 weeks... If that... They're pond life, simple as really...

Respect is something some parents don't teach there children these days more likely to give you a mouth full like the parents do.
They got no respect for other people belonging either.
I don't know your family situation but going down the park with the kid could just do the trick but make sure the parents know about it first.

While i agree to an extent sometimes kids will just be kids no matter how good their up brininging.

Yeah, it's a romantic idea mate (romantic as in idyllic, lol), I like kids, but I don't see why I should take his kid down the park playing a penny whistle flute like the pied piper while his farther sits there scratching his arse.

Who's that knocking on my door Monday morning, oh, it's the local vigilante group waiting to string me up for being a pedo!!!! If I went to the door eating from a familly size bag of Opal Fruits, it's open season on my arse!!!

I don't know mate, steve has point, I've noticed that there are more and more parents who are more involved in themselves these days and promote that selfishness onto their kids. You have to admit, unless you live in a secluded area, you must have noticed.

Too many parents these days are totally oblivious to what being a good parent is, they think a good parent is going to work and giving them a chocolate bar every now and then when they want to reward them.

Then there are the parents who don't want to hit their children or raise a voice to them. I don't agree with either myself, absolutly not, but being stern with a child, and making sure you have their attention when you are teaching them morals is a must, just as much as showing them you love them is.

Too many parents these days let them walk all over them and everyone else as a result.
