i am wondering what is the latest software for this fone, and can the apps for android that are cracked, work on this, is the latest software the 2.2 that everyone is talking about, and are these good phones on browsing the internet, or are they rubbish ?, i could do with some good full info on this phone of people who owne it

the engadget review says it has 1.6. id still assume like my streak you copy the apps on to the sd and install using Astro file manager thingy!

update from a dodgy translation lol
" It's worth mentioning that the Sony Ericsson X10i with the apk Installer, the user does not have to purchase mobile, android, to market download document viewer, you can browse the storage card within apk installable file, very convenient. "

this is Modaco's Xperia X10 section

theyve got a petition going it seems to get froyo on it! but the guys at xda developers have a section on the phone too.
Someone with this phone will be much better help tho.

i got one but not had much time to play yet

thanks people, how do i put the apps into my phone, is it easy ?, and can any apk android apps go into my phone as long as they are 1.6 firmware compatible, and anywhere wher to get the cracked apps from ?

just put the apps on the root of the sdcard you can try any app from the market for free for 24 hrs then get a refund if you dont like it (wink) use the linda file manager to move a bought one on to the sdcard then gt a refund or demonod has a android app section so does ip-mart
and there is a post on here with an alternative market

depends what you want to put on it. apps are all installed to the internal memory unless you root the phone.
