Nothing on the technomate website which is much use a fart in a thunderstorm

My router is upstairs and even if put in the lounge the telephone line is the opposite side to the tv.


If its anything like getting this box stabilised it will be a while.


Got a few sats stored but nothing to watch as my son sometimes is using his laptop.

Just get a set of homeplugs mate to get the internet to your box most good sets are plug-n-play!

around £50 and end of June supposedly. I posted a few days ago about a chipset driver already in images that might be able to use several 3rd party adapters. Hope so as £50 is way to high

It will be good if you can get 3rd party devices working. I agree 50 quid is a rip-off. I recently bought a 802.11n Wireless USB dongle adaptor from Ebuyer for 8 Quid. Also bought a 802.11N PCMCIA Laptop Wireless Card Belkin for around the same price...

Can you use a mixture of wireless and homeplugs with sky 834gt netgear router,or has it got to be one or the other.
