random errors while compiling do happen and normally a
make flash-neutrino-squashfs
sorts it ???
complete-neutrino.img is the full image mtd3 (w/o bootloader)
root-neutrino-squashfs.img is the squashfs area mtd5 (read only part)

Nice one - I was going to just go ahead and flash it on my box - thankfully I didn't! lol! - I don't have a null modem to hand if I feck it up! (though could solder one up after rummaging around the shed for a few hours I'm sure)
I've been looking at the VLC stuff in movieplayer.cpp code so I can try and fix it for widescreen movies. It appears to have some code in for working out the aspect ratio. It clearly doesn't work on cinema wide stuff which is something like 2.33:1 IIRC.
Oh, and put a stop to being able to browse to any folder on the server including system folders like C:\WINDOWS, and, ahem, other folders that shouldn't be so easy to find!
It seems there is already code there to cope with that - perhaps its a makefile option to include it?
Looks like it should be easy enough to fix either way.
Of course its possible the germans have already fixed this in their latest stuff so worth checking before re-inventing the wheel and all.
Anyway - what about Cryos menu (Stage 4) and the rest of it?
