Its been raining here on and off for a few days so my lawn has grown a bit but today I went into the garden and its like ant city. The buggers have buit thier little hills everywhere, I've seen 1 or 2 before and I got some powder and sprayed them and they went away but it seems like they just went to get thier army and they've built a serious barracks in my back garden!!!

What can I do to stop this? they are red ants and they sure have a big bite, my daughter can't even go out there as she's been bitten.

I would really appreciate some help and advice on this one

Thanks

yeah every day i have new wee hills between my paving slabs

i dnt bother about them though, unless they come in my house, then i kick their cnts in.

yeah but my little one is driving me crazy as she does spend alot of time playing out there, she came in with red bumps from being bitten and the bites do hurt!!

Really...wow never had them and dont want them either. My m8 had slaters problem once and he also used powder and it worked but i don't know what powder.

We've got the same problem at the moment. It's 'mare for the little'un, because he's restricted to where he can go in the garden. It's also driving the missus nuts 'cos some of them are right around/near the washing line, and they either climb all over the wash basket, or her feet/legs. (Or both!)

I've already bought 4 bottles of the powder stuff from B&Q, which does work, but a few days later, another mob appear elsewhere... I've got a couple of bottles of "Nippon" to try now, just waiting for it to dry up a bit before I go squirting the lil' fookers again...

If that don't work, I'll have to ring the council and get some advice...
