A 500GB disc? Who needs it?

I'm sure one day we'll laugh and say it's an absolute necessity having 500GB on one disc, but at the moment I can't see any need for it. Anyway Pioneer's boffins have made a disc compatible with blu ray that will hold 500GB.

Imagine how much it will cost...lol But on the plus side, can you imagine the amount of stuff the films/games could have but as they can't fully utilise the ps3 at the minute I am sure it will be useless because by the time the have it sussed something else will be out...lol
