hi my tv is giving me a rubbish picture, i can see figures but the colour isnt too good, i cant go through the menu as i cant really see what it says. can any help me reset the tv to factory settings if this is possible. thanks

Is it a CRT, LCD or Plasma. Most modern TV's can be reset using the inbuilt menu but I dont ever recall resetting a CRT.

lcd or plasma,i dunno, think it may be lcd

I'm pretty certain that you should be able to reset it to factory defaults. Have you searched the internet for the manual? Once you grab hold of that it should be a doodle to reset.

If the picture is so bad that you struggle to see the menu the TV could be screwed. A factory reset usually just oversaturates the colours and kicks in too much brightness.

i hope it aint screwed, will it be much to get it fixed? ill check or a manual later but im having trouble getting the menu back on so ive put it away for a bit. cheers mate.

There are one or two engineers on the forum, I think digidude is one, maybe pinkhelmets as well

Either way you need the pro's now, a munkey only knows so much LOL
