Strange subject i know, but my mate has asked me did i know anything about doing away with mice, lol, yes mice, lol.

So, i thought i would ask in here for tips.

He lives right on the edge of woodland etc and has always had mice problems, even to the extent he bought a pooty cat few years back and it used to catch them, lol.

Anyways, he didnt like getting up everyday to face his cat with bloodied face smiling at him with 6 mice on the floor with guts hanging out etc every couple of days.

So, i guess the mice traps wouldnt be an option as they would be blood n guts too i think ??

Hes put some rat poison stuff down on saucers in behind things etc, its like grain kinda stuff, well thats what it reminds me of, like large budgie seeds, ilmao, anyways, hes got some of that down the now. (i dont even know if rat poison would do the same thing as mice poison ?).

One of the things hes concerned about though is the thought that they might eat the poison and go and die under the floorboards or summit and stink the house out, is that what the critters do, i dunno ?? or worse still maybe die right there and then in a corner and lay there stinking ?

any ideas much appreciated.

p.s
i told him to get another pooty cat, lol, but he dont like them much and thats his choice i guess.

u need a bucket . a stick and a plastic bottle .. put the stick throw the bottle and put across the bucket with nut paste on it (they lock that) put water in the bucket and a bit of wood upto the top of the bucket . when then step on the bottle it spins around and it falls in the water .. the end lol

thought you were on about keyboard & mouse............lol..........

good luck m8, my m8 once had same problem, he went and got a cat from the cats home, they were gone in less that a week, mice are clever animals they know when there in danger thats why they prob did one 2 a new place...

try it m8, a cat from the cats home costs nothing, just a donationn if you want 2 give one................

when i used to live near a field about 7 or 8 years ago, we had a mouse problem.

so we had glue strips and mouse traps. both worked great.

we even had 3 or 4 mice stuck to these glue strips per night. just stick em against the skirting board, and they run past it, but actually don't get past it LOL.

i even took a few out with tins, yep, i would wake up for a midnight feast and go into kitchen, open cupboard, and there was a mouse, looking at me in cupboard, so i grab a tin of beans/soup or whatever nearest tin was, and whack the mouse, then bin it, and put tin back.

lol, ye but as i said, he dont want to go through that again, he had a cat, big white persian it was actually, lol, one of them ones that you see in shows etc, and the thing used to sit there in the morning with a big smile on its face purring like fook rubbing its self on his legs as they do, lol, and then my mate would see why it was all happy with blood all over its face, there was mice lined up on the floor like a pack of link sausages he says, lol, all the guts hanging out etc, i thought it was disgusting to be honest, lol.

But he got shot of the cat as he just dont want stinking cats, lol, there again, i guess he has stinking mice, hehehhe, but i know what hes after, he just wants the mice to get to fook without having to smash thier brains in and scrape them off the floors etc, hes not wanting to see all that stuff, just wanting them to take the bait and go away and die in the woods or summit like that, he once had a rat in the atticc too he was telling me, they had to use one of those big traps that the catchers use and take the fooker away alive, he says it was like summit out a horror movie, big fookin thing.

i was like what the fook man, argghhhhhhh :(

get a bin or a large bucket, fill it with water, on top of the water put small pieces of polystyrene to cover the whole area , put a bigger piece in the centre with some nece food for the mice.

The mice will try to walk over the small pieces and fall in the water, lol.

You could get an Ultrasonic Mouse Repeller , this plugs into a wall socket and gives a high pitched sound that dont effect humans, cats , or dogs, but the mice hate the fookers and wont go any where near them.

Or there is the option to get a multi mouse trap, and catch a few at a time, then tip them into the toilet when you catch them, or drive miles away abd let them go if your not a cruel person.

i think the likes of one of those sonic mouse repellers that plug into a mains socket sound good, you know of any recommended ones mate ?

update on his mice, lol>>>

after a few days ago putting down a plate of the rat poison grains/pellets or whatever you call em, he noticed first night they guzzled the whole platefull, so next night he put down another platefull, that night they didnt really eat much of it but a few grains, so he left that same stuff down, and following night noticed they took about 50% of it that he left out, then tonight he looked again to see how much was left on the plate and it was nearly all gone. lol.

so hes put another full heaped platefull down, when i say a platefull i mean a plate thats like in between the size of a normal tea cup saucer and a normal size dinner plate, you know what i mean, so thats what he's putting out to them.

Another thing i was thinking about was, i asked him how old the tub of poison was, he says it was like couple of years old and been laying in the cupboard, i dunno if these poison things can lose thier strength over time, could they ?

anyways, anymore input on this subject would be helpfull if anyone has anything to add.

thanks.

how good a shot are you?

get the old .22 out the cupboard and chase them!!

Cheers

anyone remember The Kenny Everitt show, the guy in the tank.
Round them up put them in a field and bomb the Ba$tards.

we had a hit load of mice about a year ago they were running in and out of the shed and up to the loft god knows how they were getting up there but they were.

I tried 2 types of poison one was non toxic it supposedly dried them out and they dehydrated and the second was the blue rentokil corn stuff which was toxic they ate all of it and it didnt do squat lol.

so i bought a modern rentokil mouse trap and used nutella MICE LOVE CHOCOLATE AND NUTS!

i caught 2 or 3 a day lol i think i got around 25-30 in the end and now they are all gone and we have a cat so they wont be coming back either.
