Good AGP card to play pro evolution 2008

Right now i got a nvidia geforce fx 5600, i am looking for a upgrade but i dont want to spend too much as i will be getting a new pc with PCI-E.

I would preferably go for an nvidia card but i wouldnt mind trying an ati card.

But if you can't wait then you'll have to buy a card with pixel shader 3.0 to enjoy excellent graphics and I'm not too sure you'll get a PCI card that will handle pixel shader 3.0?

No point in blowing money if the card you've got will run it in the meantime?

It will play at medium settings quite well on a 7600GT or X1650XT. Both can be had for about £25 second hand. If you want to crank it up a bit then look for a seond hand X1900 series of cards, any one will do, or the Geforce 79 series of cards. These X19 series your looking at maybe £40-£50, the 79 series maybe £30-£50 depending on what flavour model you are looking at getting.

Put a wanted ad in the trade section, see if you get any offers mate.

which 79 series are you talking about?? will i be able to play on it with the high settings??

What would the spec be?

I can't see it being any more than the recommended settings for PES2008.
The Screenshots for 2009 look great.
