Road Tax, why should i pay full whack ??

nah, i dont reckon anyone is going to riot. we get our chance to have our say durnig elections. if we aint happy now we just make a vote when they are on.

your one of them dogooders arent you, lol ??? ilmao, i bet you sit at home watching the news saying "thats daft and rediculous" when you see people out fight for our rights, yes your rights and mines, all our rights.

hang on, what do you mean sit at home when others fight for our rights?

i mean procisley what i said, your comments were like making out "dont be daft, we couldnt riot over fuel/tax" etc, well why not, course we could.

go on, explain yourself. I dont get what you mean by "other fight for our rights". I wanna know what you mean there. why the **** should we riot over fuel tax? not everyone is upset with it, what about the people that are happy with it are you gonna riot with them?

how incredibly erudite of you.

Yes we do get the opportunity to vote, however its not something we all do. During the last general election I recall a 45% turnout. So that means 55% of the populace who could vote chose not to.

And no doubt then started to whinge when they didnt like what was going on around them.

I didnt vote - because there all idots, catch 22 dosnt matter who we vote for were gonna get shafted

so your happy paying 80 per leter in tax now ?

Holy crap, what is the merc ? an AMG, or Barbus or what ? and with 3 years no claims. I thought we took it in the arse over here in N.I. for insurance. My insurance was actually renewed today for my Passat and with 3 years no claims I got mine down to £306. My first insurance, was for an old Proton 1.3, and the cheapest quote I got from a company over here was £1180, so I used a friends address from Romford and I got it for £640.

Its my first car mate so thats probably why... It was originally £2700 in the first year and only one company I found would insure me

explain myself ?? wtf do you think ive been doing the whole thread mate, ilmao..

and what about the people who are happy with it you ask ??? ohhh ffs, can you find one person that is happy with it, if you do then it must be about the only person in the uk, lol, unless you are that man, lol.

if you dont vote you then you have no right to say the governent is bad. Every vote counts, and we should make good use of the right to make ourselves heard.

After all, havent we spent a large amount of effort democratising other parts of the world? By saying it makes no difference here, it kind of belittles the plight of other countries who dont even have this simpole right.

Okey, So why am i ment to vote for then ? Non of them had any good ideas about the future of this country. All i could see what tax tax tax - so i didnt vote. If there was someone there with good idea and a good leader ship and wasnt a twat i would have voted for them

Other peopel cant drive less....so they want to do somthing about it.

I.E I use from 32 (was 88 pence a liter) now 42 (116.9) a leater a week doing upwards of 200 millies per week for work - and thats not including extra 10tenner i put in when i want to use my car - and p.s its a 1.5 mazda before we get into fule battel again.

I have been looking into LPG however, its about 1800 for a conversion onmy car and i cant afford that kind of money :(

if you read the posts correctly its saying i bet your the type that would sit and say "thats daft or rediculous" if you were watching the news and people were protesting about something vital, for example the subjects we are talking about now, you quoted that its just daft to be rioting about fuel and tax, how/why is that daft if thats the action we need to take ??

Did you moan during the pole tax riots ?? did you moan during the coal rights etc etc etc, need i go on, as i say, going by your attitude you probably sat at home saying quote"thats daft" while people were rioting on "our" behalf, yes our behalf, yours and mines and everyone elses.

The French do all right out of a good riot, Some times this country has to much stiff upper lip and takes it all on the chin no matter what this goverment drops on us
