hi there my laptop acts k when on battery but when i cnnect power cable it acs as if its go virus going slow battery icon flashes when i pull lead out its normal anybody heard of this cheers

does it say battery is fully charged when its plugged in even tho it isnt?

also, when you say it goes slow, is it just slow generally or specific applications?

there might be a software installed to monitor battery / ac power activity which loads or tries to load when on ac power.

do you get any pop ups on the bottom right hand corner of the screen?

hi sometime it sayswarnig you should change battery or change to power suply but the battery i cn flashes on and off and it loos full and slow generally

how long you had the laptop mate? seems like battery is on its way out. in terms of it going slow im not quite sure whats happening there.

when it does start to go slow next time do this:

on your keyboard press CTRL + ALT = DELETE and go the tab that says processes and sort by memory. see which process is using the highest amount of memory.

also, what operating system are you running?

Sounds as devil666x says, the battery is either on its way out or already has a problem.

Batteries get problems because they are not fully discharged after being charged. They have a very good memory and will only charge up to the time they were last charged. If it was not fully discharged it remembers it only needs to charge for say 30mins and the next time it is not fully discharged the charge time gets shorter and shorter and so on until the battery is useless.

You could try fully discharging the battery and then try a recharge and full discharge again, to try to recondition its memory, but it is probably already to late for that.
