My daughter gets free O2 to O2 calls if she tops up £15 a month on her PAYG, does anyone know if a contract phone gets this?

Contract is £35 /month for 600 mins and 500 txt.

As part of your free minutes they are. You may also have a free bolt on which can be unlimited 02 to 02 calls if you select that as your bolt on.

If the contract has free x-network minutes, then yes you will get free calls etc.

There is also a bolt on available here: http://www.o2.co.uk/mobilestariffs/tariffs/paymonthly/boltons that seems to describe free 02 to 02 calls, but you shoudl check with o2 about the price and what exactly their version of unlimited actually means

I qualify for a free bolt-on of my choice, yayy! :)

I'm gonna choose free unlimited landline calls and keep my 600 X-net for mobiles :)

Hmm, ok a slight problem..

How the fook do you actually add a bolt on to a contract phone?

I seem to be able to add them to a PAYG contract but I see nothing about adding them to a contract.

Easy m8 phone 02 cust service they will sort you out

I emailed them and got a reply saying that because I bought the phone through a 3rd party I was not eligible for the free Bolt-On :(

I moaned about how I had terminated my land line as I had been advised by an O2 customer Service rep (I lied, I didn't call anyone) that I would get a free Bolt-On as long as I took out a contract for at least 600 minutes over an 18 month period, I told her I was still paying £35 a month just like everone else yet I'm not getting it and they are. She put me on hold and came back and told me the Free Bolt-On would be active from my next billing period.

Result.

600 x-net minutes, 500 text, unlimited Landline Calls and a free Playstation 3 :)
