A couple of weeks ago My Dvd Writer went tits up. following week it was my Monitors turn. ok at that, Then A fan Failure on my Motherboard fecked up so dissmantled computer and took motherboard with me to computer shop I bought it from simple Eh!

not a fecking chance asked for a replacement. sorry not in stock. ok just give me one for the same chip, none, don't make them any more. so tried 4 different stores same result. ok give me a new motherboard and chip. ok no problem, by the way you'll need new memory for that motherboard your old memory won't fit, anything else I asked. you might need a better power supply as well.

so ended up getting a new case, power supply, memory. motherboard and chip.

old stuff was only about 14 months old so be warned next time you want to upgrade your machine it might just cost a little more than you think.

Here's what you need mate :banana:

not really because could not afford to buy fastest prossesor like I used to do. just had to take what I could for cash I had with me, just to get back up and running. and only got 1gb of memory will just update when I am at the shops only £14 also it's only got 1 graphic card slot and 1 ide slot.

but so far running fine.

Dude what was your old setup?

Was it 939 AMD by any chance?

Anyway I can guarantee you would not have had to buy a new PSU or case, they have had you on that one mate, unless of course your old case was mATX only and this one is ATX.

But look on the bright side, you can now sell your old stuff and try to recoup some of your loss due to bad luck.

Or, you could have asked on here, and I could have flogged you my Abit 939 AN8 Ultra board... ;) You could have kept your RAM and CPU then... ;)

good point mate, a few peeps on here allways have some pc bits lying around

In fact it may be worth looking into the warranty on each item, a lot of them will have 3 years, especially the monitor.

monitor was about 2 months out of warranty. case was more a choice than a necessity and it was only £21.

will probably built my daughter a computer for her room with all spare parts I have around. A m8 says he has a motherboard for me. as I said just wanted up a running.

was having a clean up around my desk today lifted my chair and it fell apart
but was lucky it was just the metal spring clip on the bottom of the gas lift thingy got another one off an old chair and sorted it. my printer was not feeding paper correctly either.

Beginning to think somebody has put a CURSE on ME!!!! :CRYBABY:
