Turkey most undeserved to go through?

I cannot believe Turkey have pulled more bullsh1t out of their ass and somehow won.
The most negative football for 90 minutes and the biggest bunch of divers and foulers aided by useless referee team win. BULL!!!!

Germany have basically got a free ticket to the finals now hahaha...typical.

And how did this referee team get picked and Howard Webb's got sent home...rubbish

(btw im not croatian)
 
All i can say is take that croatia tw**s :Clap:.Got to say the game itself was rubbish but injury time in extra time was great lol
 
Croatia was the better team through and through.

I hate to see a game go to penalties, it makes no sense to me at all. The turks sat back on that ball all night, knowing they only had a chance if they got it to penalties.

This may be the only occasion I say I hope Germany win.
 
Turkey deserved it!

They got their tactics just right, and outwitted Croatia. They frustrated the Croatians till around the 80th minute and then started to play, by this time the Croatians were tired and frustrated.

To come back like that, with a few seconds of time remaining is just brilliant and shows their grit and determination.

At the end of the day, the aim of the game is to win and Turkey won...

A win is a win, yes - but Turkey didnt want to play football, they wanted to play penalty shoot out. I think thats a pretty poor showing to be honest. And I doubt they will fair better against the Germans.
 
I have feeling the turks might win this competition.

They was not the better side but croatia was poor also it was the worst game (until the extra time) i have seen in this competition.

But i have a feeling the turks might surprise everyone!
 
Nah they have too many of their key players suspended for next match...i for one will be looking forward to their elimination from this tournament

Where was turkey's aim to win the game until they started to actually play bit more positive in extra time. Turkey didnt deserve sh1t and for the first time i want the germans to smash them out of the tournament
 
Them was some shite penalties by the Croats. It was like watching England.

Modric's a really good player but he sure aint gonna be getting the ball off Robbie Keane to take pens at Spurs! lol
 
the turks are gonna get walloped off the krauts and if they think they can play like that against them and win they're in cloud cuckoo land!.

What's the referee team got to do with it? OK, they were too whistle-happy, but there were no dodgy decisions that would allow the Croats to say "We wuz robbed!" If anything, the Turks suffered more from the yellow card decisions.

And how can you say the Turks didn't deserve the win? Ok, the Croats played the better football during normal time, but football is about scoring goals. They couldn't do it!

It was a different story during extra time. The Croats should have been fresher, as they'd been able to rest players in their last group game, but the Turks outplayed them.

When it came to penalties, the Croats bottled it. Therefore they lost.

Simple really.
 
I thought that the whole match was crap.

The extra time, especially from the 2nd half of extra time that's when it was interesting. When Croatia scored, I thought that's it, but then Turkey scored in the 132nd minute of the match, which is like stupid but anyway, it was so interesting.

Anyway, poor penalties from Croatia...they didn't look convinced.
 
Turkey were cr@p till extra time, then they turned up.

Croatia appeared to have nicked it but the equaliser killed them, they were gutted going into penalties.

Over extra 1 minute in extra time? thats a lot and it should not have happened...and croatia wanted to get their sub on but "technical" issues from the 4th official wouldnt let them do it.

turks got more yellow cards because they commited more fouls to break up play. Simple really.

As you said, and many witnessed, there were 2 minutes added time in the second half of extra time. I think that's the first time I've seen that.

I think it has been done before, the way that Turkey had been playing it wasnt surprising.

There is playing football and then there is playing for extra time.
 
Give credit where it is due

Turkey have a average team compared to most of the other teams in this Euro championship. For them to reach the semi-finals is an outstanding achievement.

Coming back from the dead and WINNING shows this turk team have great heart and courage.

If the turks want to sit back, defend and break on the counter attack, then the onus is on the other more advanced teams to break them down.
Every other premeirship teams do it when they play the big four. You dont want to commit suicide and try to match a more advanced team in attacking football and end up getting hammered and embarrassed.

The Turkey team have done their country proud,all the best turkey, hope they win it.

i thought that the Czechs and the Croats would beat em.. but even though they play bad they kept on battling..
the team although not good, has good spirit.. and luck which can be so important..

I wont predict nothin for the Germany game.. lol when i do the match goes against my prediction lol
