i am looking for advice to do my own web page and dont know where to start can any one who has done this b4 let me know and where to get free downloads to start thanks guys

This site is very good on how pages can be put together: http://www.w3schools.com/

Visual Web Developer Express is also a very good tool for putting them together once you know what you want: http://www.microsoft.com/express/vwd/

These two resources are quite good, it will help you understand what goes on in a webpage in order to get it up on a browser.

If you want more of a heavyweight tool, then Dreamweaver should be something you look at next. W3Schools should give you all the info you need to get started though.
