Whats the best deal with Sky for HD.

Got Sky+ at min but Dont fancy paying a few ton for hd box & then £10.00 per month for the subscription, think thats out of order seen as ive been i sky customer for over 15 years

Do Virgin do anything the same

virgin got the v+ m8,their big shout is it has three tuners instead of slys two,plus you can have a play around with the v+,if that tickles youre fancy.

But Virgin have only got the 1 HD channel - BBCHD.

SkyHD can be had for £99 for new Sky subscribers, if you can get a new subscription at a relatives house for example

Hi Again I had the same problem, the deal with Sky is if you have Broadband and Telephone or take at the same time its £149 +£30 install as long as you take multiroom as well , if not it's £199 + £60 installation, I looked around and even thought of buying from EBay but to be honest still very pricey, I got lucky and one of my mates sold his to me for a ton as he was moving to Virgin because of Broadband issues, bottom line mate is that you are going to have pay near a ton, V+ with Virgin is ok yes it has 3 tuners but only BBC HD and they are concentrating their efforts on VOD not HD.
