lost card reader

Iv,e lost my card reader the 1 you put your sd cards in etc used it earlier to transfer some pic,s to pc and now i went to use it again gone off the screen all the icons for the card slots have gone , i have tried system restore but still not there

any ideas any 1 :Cheers:

If it external then unplug it from ure USB and plug it in in a different port.
If it is internal then unplug it from the header and plug it into another one.

This usually fixes any probs with USB.

If not try reinstalling any driver software u got with it

try shutting it down with the power switch but when it has switched off hold it in for about a min while it is switched off it gets rid off the static in the machine not sure what pc you have but this normaly happens in medion pc's and thats the cause of it

also rebooting the pc without it plugged into the header then rebooting with it plugged in usually solves problem.
