have lost track of where we are up to with regard to Vista Service pack 1 and the Paradox "trick". I read before SP1 was released that it would knock out Paradox and it's like, I remember reading later (I think) that Microsoft had changed their mind about this, instead relying on a more robust WGA

Does anyone know whether Vista service Pack 1 does disable paradox or not?

Thanks for your reply David. I knew that MS update KBXXX510 knocks out paradox. I was just checking to see if this or similar is included in SP1, it seems that it isn't from what you've said?

I went to Windows update to check the above KB reference number, I had previously chosen to hide it. The number was not there (I just remember the last 3 digits being 510). Update says that if a previously hidden update has been included in something else then the original will no longer appear - odd - because everything seems ok still.

It would appear that I must have installed the new update already, paradox alive and well........ now I am more confused than when I started!
