Can't lon in to eBay account?

tried logging into both my Ebay and Paypal account this morning on both Firefox and IE7 but I can't get to the username and password screen just loads but nothing happens?

Has anybody else got this problem?

Cleared your cookies and cache ?

Will do no harm anyway, I do this and restart my comp if I get loggin problems.

tried clearing cookies, cache, re starting both computers and still no joy.

Unplugged modem and router, plugged them back in and it works?
