DBOX2 IMAGE WITH FULL AUTO UPDATE GBOX WORKING

Yes you read it right i was playing about changing images on my nokia dbox2 and found a image by someone called littleboy this image has a fully auto updating gbox cam the only cam you can have on it is gbox but i see in the emu folder there is and evocamb , cam2 , gbox and only rom7 in the keys but theres a nice little update script that auto switches the cams and update the key fully auto all you have to do it flash the image on your x2 dbox2 and scan or ftp you channels across and your done it took about 1 min to first come in on gbox and i was going through a few int channels to kick it in but works like a charm with no switching cams at all i have tryed to copy the scrips across to Andromeda 2.0 as thats the image i like but cant get it to got just hoping someone with a bit more know how can do this anyway heres the file have a go for yourself and enjoy all credit has to goto littleboy for this

What you're saying is not strictly accurate, m8- I wish it was, so does BoyBlue (the Creator of this Littleboy image), I bet.

You start off in evocamd, which AUs. You can now switch immediateley to gbox - with Blue > Blue > Green and away you go, in gbox.

Until a keyroll- and black screens. Blue > Blue > Red to switch to evocamd and AU. Carry on watching under evocamd- or go back to gbox in the blink of on eye, it's your choice- but gbox will drop straight in again.

But auto-AU gbox is definately not, until (or if) it's fixed, sorry...

PaphosAL thank you for explaining this properly im sorry everyone if i have it wrong but i could not get into any menu on the blue button the screen just flashed when i pressed it and when i was going up the channels the info bar says gbox and the channels didnt come in straight away then after a few the ??? turn to int and of i went thats when i thought it was auto updating sorry ..

for alot of people that have dbox that picture freezes and jumps about the gbox cam is very stable and helps stop this usually more on sagem dbox

Easy fix for the Blue button menu not working, m8: The shellexec.conf file in /var/tuxbox/config in the image as released is dysfunctional. Just overwrite it with the same-named file in my Neutrino patch here

While in your FTP session- you also need to chmod the two .sh files in /var/bin to 755

All should then work hunk-dory. Cheers- AL
