As heading suggests, the phone gets uncomfortably warm when charging on the wireless dock, but is OK when plugged in.
Phone is in a cheap case, so I tried removing the case and wireless charging did not cause it to heat up. Given Samsung's reputation for producing expensive incendiary devices it would be nice to get this sorted.
Removing the case every night kind of defeats the point of the convenient wireless charging :bangshead:, so my question is: Would a genuine Samsung phone cover help? They're not exactly cheap, so don't want to splash out £, €, $ only to get the same result.

I have a galaxy 6 (not edge) and it's in a otterbox leather folio case, I use wireless charging every day and it never gets hot, even after being on charge overnight (how I normally do it). I use a really cheap (99p) chinese wireless charging puck stuck into a 3d printed holder so it's nearly virtical.

That's just the answer I was looking for, thank you. I guess my 5€ case is to blame. Nice idea making it stand up, I might give that a go.
