Mobile Phones Magnetic charging Sony Experia

Just got myself (on launch) a Sony Experia Z1 compact.
I've been looking at the Magnetic charging option's.

Sony sell the DK32 which will set me back 25-30 quid.
but i have seen cables only on sale for as little as 5 quid.

I've tried looking at the published standards for them. but honestly cant make heads of tails of it.
so, as Sony don't, currently, offer a cable only. are the "pattern" cables safe to use?

thanks guy I've seen most of them out there
I did realise that it was a charger only as i have NFC, BlueTooth and wifi to transfer data.

I was just wondering if i was totally safe getting a "pattern" cable.
a 400+quid phone going Phutt is no laughing matter. and that's the last thing i want

To be honest I can see where your coming from but I think they will be fine, but if your not happy pay the extra at least you will have peace of mind, like you said its a lot of money to loose.
