Is there a way to track a mobile phone? Would be nice to know where my daughter is at times....

What phone has she got? Something like ilocalis (iphone) works great

Has your daughter got an android phone? Seek Droid is good

If she's in her teens, she probably won't want her privacy invaded, so won't install said software :)

Yeah but the main purpose isn't to track her, it's so if the phone gets lost or stolen you can remotely lock/wipe etc etc ;)

Lookout Mobile Security

Works for almost any phone that downloads apps! It saves all contacts and pics it also locates lost or stolen devices or blocks them and lots more check it out.

It's ok but for full features like remote wipe, remote lock, photo & call history backup and transfering data to a new phone cost you $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year.

The location of a phone is free, also sounding a siren on the phone too as well as anti virus and firewall. :)

But it does state that for it to work properly you need to be on an unlimited data plan.

It looks at multiple way to find your phone, GPS, Wi-Fi & cell towers. But being a US company and primarily for the US market some features may not work with phones made for the UK market, like turning on and off the GPS remotely.
