Hi people just a quick one been looking on the net for deals on the above as i think im paying virgin over the top for mine ive got 10meg and talk weekend and 400min talk anywere for 41.50 per month do alot of ps3 gameing so need a good connection how much does the rest of you pay for this need to get the price down a bit tryed to ring up virgin today but they wont move on the price

I'm £30 for 10Mb modem, M+ TV and standard telephone tarrif with free unlimited weekend calls.

unmlinted phone calls 24.7

just had a nice women whos gave me £19 discount every month lol
just phone erm up say i want dis n dis n no more than this price.
the v hd box was free lol
women waved the installion fee n box fee n then posted it to me n waved the postage fee

My cloned modem has been playing up for a few weeks so I decided to give them a call and go (semi) legit.

I still use my clone modems, they are running at 20mb each, but now I can call Virgin and complain if the line goes tits up.

They gave me one of those Cisco V HD boxes too, for free.

not bad boxes shame menu didnt change to a nicer colour than black lol

Its still NTL. lol. Just branded as Virgin

The only people who seem to authorise discounts is the termination department, even one of their agents told me to call and threaten to leave to get a better deal.

Maximum credit a CS agent can give is £10. Anything else needs to be authorised by the team leader. Disconnections is different, they can offer what they want to people.
