I've got a Bosch washing machine and for some reason it won't drain. I've checked drain pipe it's clear and where the pump is it making funny noise. Opened drain bit on front and nothing stuck there as well.
I'm thinking faulty pump anybody do repairs for a living to confirm.

Not a repairman, but had them stop many times, usually something small such as a screw or 5p stuck in pump.

Can you turn the pump manually? Often there is a cooling fan you can spin by hand (when the machine is unplugged of course!) that might give you an indication. Sometimes kirby grips & the like can get caught up in the pump and not be visible from the front plate. Does it drain if you lower the drain pipe to the floor?

had this on a bosch and it was something stuck in the impellar pump take the little drain cover off at the front and look in you will see the impellar. You might see whats fouling it.

I took front cover off there is a little fan and yes I can spin with my hand. It drains from little pipe at front slowly or if I unscrew drain cover is it faster.

Had already taken front cover off and nothing in there

Try it again mate and use a long screwdriver or the like and see if the impeller moves freely. That's what I done and it freed it up it was a tiny bit of crap that was stopping it

Sorry mate just seen you've tried that :(

From personally experience, had hair clips, elastic band (sister & mum not emptying their pockets) stopping the little fan spinning and build up of limescale (little rocks blocking the flow of water).

removed pump today and it comes apart into 2 pieces took loads of limescale out but made no difference so reckon must be broken

forgot to post changed pump and machine is fixed
