Ok we have a window that is 6ft wide and 3ft drop

Thinking about removing the window and replacing with French Doors (Pvc Style), So this will involve cutting through the bricks to bring the drop to the correct size etc.

Then installing the doors...

Right Questions...

How difficult will this be?

What do you stick in the cavity between the two layers of brick?

Will the lintel for the window should be ok for the doors?

what maybe the cost if I was to pay out to have the work done?

Thanks

Not difficult You could use expanding foam for the cavity . The lintel will be ok as long as you don't widen the opening.

Mine was done about 5 years ago it's a messy job diamond cutter used for outside wall and by hand on inside well worth the expense

The in laws had exactly that done, cost them around £1200 last year.

You could always shop around yourself for the doors an get a separate quote for fitting it off a builder.
