I'll explain, the kids Samsung TV started to turn it's self randomly on & off so I checked all the remotes etc and HDMI but it still did it.

My first port of call was Google and youtube and was shocked to find how common fault with Samsung TV's is but the fault has different forms and there are a number of different fixes.

I came on here after watching lots of different fixes on Youtube including the one you posted up but I was unsure if that was the correct fix or if a different repair was needed or if it was out my league with my soldering iron and limited know how on things like this.

I then thought I'd chance it and come on DW before tackling it and simply ask to if any members had had a similar problem and their thoughts as the Samsung on/off problems seems a very common fault.

Thanks for the advise manic I do appreciated it so I've not a clue what your "bullshit" remark means whether its a sarky remark or what .
