Hi,

Combi pressure has fallen to 0.75 bar. Checked manual and needs to be between 1 - 1.5. Manual just says to refill the water system but nothing on how to. combi.jpg

I've turned knob 1 anti-clockwise until its fully open. Then turned knob 2 anti-clockwise and you should start to hear it filling up and the bar should raise. It doesnt and a few drops of water comes out near know 2.

Is this the correct order to do it in? The other searches I've done say not to turn any of the levers (picture 3).

thanks

Thanks @miggy The manual just says "Fill the system". Followed this one on youtube link herebut nothing happens while turning 2nd wheel. Even after 2nd wheel is fully turned.

Is there another water main tap that is turned off?. In theory by opening that 1st valve then the other it should fill up but it appears as you say that no water is coming through to fill it. Something must be off m8 or that valve is broke.

@miggy We have hot water and everything appears to be working. Just noticed it was 0.75 bar (should be 1 - 1.5) and thought I'd top it up. Could be broken as you say.

Just wondering if its a closed loop system but couldnt see any metal pipe or place to fit one if it was closed loop.

Now that is strange if it was a closed circuit a short bridging pipe should be supplied to top it up and then take off afterwards. Is this another gimmick so the average DIYer cannot touch it?. Perhaps @Him Her could help you out with this problem.

have you got a similar set up to this mate. If you have get a bridging pipe from your DIY store and that is it.

If I've read the manual correctly then you have a water inlet valve.

Page 14 shows diagram of boiler and it looks like 4 is water inlet with page after showing small silver t shaped connector which has small blue valve on it. It may also need the black one next to it.

Please double check I've read those instructions right first :)

Just checked and there are no silver caps and there is a copper pipe between the 2 black wheels on mine.

I have the blue valve just behind each of the black wheels but no other black or other colour lever. The left most black wheel, I can turn the blue lever 90 degree to the left but the other blue lever will not budge in clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Follow that first black wheel back to where it is going. Is there another isolator valve on the other end of it?. If there is you may need to turn that on first??.

Nothing after the blue lever. I've attached a clearer picture of my setup.

Maybe another pic underneath but i'm thinking more to the right hand side.

According to manual, it's the smaller silver T with smaller blue valve and black valve maybe near to it?

This one is taken from underneath

and this one to the far right

After the blue levers, followed down and there are no further levers.
A friend said he will pop over at the weekend and take a look. Its probably something really silly I'm doing wrong.

Is it not that blue and black ones on far right?

The other one looks like 22mm piping from pic so that's likely gas supply

Have you opened them blue taps first before the black ones?.
I opened the left blue lever first and then did the left black wheel and then the right black wheel. The right blue lever, I'm unable to budge it.

Seems like the same setup in the youtube video and they got it to work with the black wheels only and no need to turn the blue levers.

The blue lever far right, will not budge.

What is that copper pipe with a cap on it not connected to anything?.

I would leave it then until your friend comes around to have a look as you don't want to shut off the feed/return :)

It could be left over from old boiler maybe!
