We are looking to replace our boiler as the current one is giving warning and is in efficient.

We currently have a combi so it will be like for like.

On the list is either a Vaillant or a Bosch circa 30kw.

What would you guys who are in the heating game recommend?

NOT sent from my PC/Laptop.

if your looking at 30 kw then get a Worcester Greenstar 30cdi He Combi Boiler

Great boiler i have fitted a few of these, you will get good hot water flow rates with this one

I notice that installers like to reccomend the Worcester Bosch I guess they are easy to install but an old guy that I knew that used to service boilers once told me that
Vaillant are the Rolls Royce of boilers
I have had one in both of my houses since (I dont have 2 houses btw, I moved from one to another)

I have just had a baxi duotec 2 40kw fitted .5 year guarantee if fitted before end of December .water flow rate is excellent on these and they are very efficient and easy to fix if anything goes wrong not a lot to them inside.

Vaillant ecotec plus 831 without a doubt the best combi out there Chris

l had one of these fitted 8 months back , great unit

Although not well known I've had a Viessmann(German manufacturer) boiler fitted with a weather compensator 3yrs ago.Not had a problem with(fingers crossed!)

Bloody expensive to some of there models.. very good though and true german engineering

Right I have narrowed my search down to the Vaillant as suggested above and the Viesmann. Now for some prices!

Got a price for a Bosch £2.2k!!

For comedy effect, BG are "conning" round on Monday.

Yup valiant Eco tec 831. Got it and can't recommend it enough.

Boiler just over a grand

Vaillant ecoTEC Plus 831 Combi Boiler LPG

Had a plumber mate fit mine but you live to far :(

I woulsd say you will get a decent plumber to fit for under a grand so all in all below the £2000 mark :)

Also PM'd ya ;)

If you have the job done. I would advise you to make sure he is gas safe registered and you see his certificate before committing yourself and your money.

If you need an idea of prices Chris text me Monday and ill get a ball part fiqure for you on both these models as IMHO these are the best 2 models out there and these are the only boilers we sell

Chris if you need a fitter mate I can recommend one lives in Bolton so not to far from you :) he aint the cheapest but never had an issue with his work and he's about to fit a new shower for us...

Let me know if you want his number, he is gas safe registered and works for a company so would do it at weekend..

If you do go for the Viessmann get it done by one of their recommended plumbers so you get the 5yr warranty. There's one in Bolton,I can give you his number if you decide on the Viessmann.

Not required mate as Viessmann now give a standard 5year warranty with all boilers
It used to be accredited installers but not anymore
