What is your budget?

What type of vlogging is she looking at doing? A beauty/makeup vlogger will need lights also. Where as, a twitch gamer would spend that money on their graphics card.

hi mick
she wanted to talk about games and stuff like minecraft and that stuff
theres some boy she loves called dan dtm who is quite famous

he does my head in but she loves him lol

she also wants to talk about general topics

looking to spend anything between 2 and 3 hundred roughly

thanks for the reply

seanie did you get sorted yet?

If not, she is gona want to be streaming to twitch i guess.

So she will need to run sometime that can handle 'gameshow' software.

I have attached a link to the minimum specs for it.

GAMESHOW - Get Answers

If she want's to stream rather than vlog; then, I'm sorry to say, I don't think that budget will cut it :( Another site gives Twitch's recommended specs as "an Intel Core i5-4670 processor (or its AMD equivalent), 8GB of RAM and Windows 7 or newer." (That CPU alone is £265!)

Minecraft isn't particularly resource hungry; there's even a version you can run on a Raspberry Pi. So if she just wants to record talking to a camera, maybe splice in some of her own Minecraft footage, and upload to Youtube; then that budget will be fine. I'll see what I can spec out for you later*.

*"Later" might be as late as tomorrow evening...

cheers for the help folks its well appreciated ,, im a spark and telecoms engineer by trade but specs on computers a v logging wouldnt be my strong point lol

just looking into this gameshow stuff,, looks amazing ,, she would be buzzing if i could get a computer that could handle this sort of software ,,

I forgot to ask if you were happy to build yourself, or wanted pre-built...

That being said, I'm having trouble putting together a spec I'm happy to suggest for cheaper than I've found these two systems:
Zoostorm Delta Tower Desktop PC - Desktops at Ebuyer
Zoostorm Origin Desktop PC - Desktops at ebuyer

These will both run Minecraft once you install an operating system. If you find a little extra, consider are a graphics also; but that will send you over your £300 max budget.

If you can stretch as far as £550, and want to build yuourself, I've no problems suggesting this: Ebuyer.com

looking a pre built one
might stretch it a little further and get one with a good graphics card
cheers for the reply buddy :)

thanks again

happy hunting for me :)

santa is going all out this year lol

Best bargains for prebuilt are probably the system builders on ebay and Amazon Marketplace.

Make sure you check whether there is an OS included or not. If they do say Windows comes preinstalled, make sure it's not just a 30-day, trial version.

Also be aware that some sellers will add the cores together to make a system appear faster; for example, if you see one system listed as 8GHz (2.0 x 4 cores) and another system listed as 2.4Ghz Quad Core, then the second system will actually be "quicker".

anything folks that you could advise between 3 too 500 pound . sorry for the hasstle again
