Just stumbled on this earlier, looks like it could be a bit of fun. I have a skip-load of old laptops, this might just breathe some new life into them.

Thanks.

I was aware it existed but I did not try it yet... because I don't think it is possible to run it 'on top' of windows like some kind of Android Emulator operating in parallel to x86 or x64 Win applications .

But still, I will probably give it a go to see what it is capable of.

You can run a program called Handy Andy which runs Android in a virtual machine in windows :)

Seems great !
Will definitely give it a go... thanks !
Hope it is possible to login with my Google Account to the Play Store...

Remix is good.
it will create a partition on your windows hdd, And then will offer a dual boot.
i believe you have to have 8gb ram, And you have to install google play store yourself.
instructions are on the remix site.
it runs good

I use andyroid, it just installs a virtual drive and runs like any other windows program, no need to partition anything, just click on the desktop icon and you have android running in a window (or full screen). Seems much better than bluestacks too. but there are annoying games it keeps downloading as a way to finance it.
