Windows 10 is coming

How To Convert Install.ESD To ISO File

Because only Windows 8 and Windows 10 support installing from ESD files, NTLite displays ESD conversion option only when you load an edition of Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10, meaning this option will not appear when you load an edition of Windows 7.
Note that NTLite doesn’t support encrypted ESD files. Because of this, if the downloaded ESD file is encrypted, please go through the steps in our Method 2 to decrypt the ESD file before converting the same to ISO.

Important to read the Note on clean install.

Note

If you upgraded to Windows 10 on this PC by taking advantage of the free upgrade offer and successfully activated Windows 10 on this PC in the past, you won't have a Windows 10 product key, and you can skip the product key page by selecting the Skip button. Your PC will activate online automatically so long as the same edition of Windows 10 was successfully activated on this PC by using the free Windows 10 upgrade offer.

Once you upgrade to win 10 and you’ve already signed in with your MS account.

If you should need to do a clean install from the ISO you’ve made from the above.

(On the same PC)

You shouldn't have to use any keys, because Win 10 will be activated thru MSA servers.

I don't sign in with my MS account, local accounts only - I wonder how it will effect my activation

There’s only one way to find out but you will be surprised at what information MS has on their servers about your system and your local user account.

The windows thread I normally post on is now 43 pages long, yesterday I needed something that I posted some time ago and it was very difficult to find.

Using search gives you the thread it’s on but not the page.

So I might copy the important ones here so it’s easier to find.

That is if no one has any objections to double posts.

Like this one here

Just in case you missed out on the windows 10 update offer for whatever reason

Try this:
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

One that could be very useful, after you’ve signed in a few hundred times. (Only works on wake up)

If like me you’re getting fed up with having to logon every time Win 10 wakes up from Sleep or Standby

Here’s a way to prevent it:

Open Settings/Click Accounts/In the left menu click Sign-in options/Under require Sign-in click on Never.

Job done!

it looks like MS has change for MAK Keys unlike Windows 8/8.1 or 7 now
There is different MAK keys for
Windows 10 Pro
Windows 10 Enterprise and
Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB

not good

If you want to remove OneDrive permanently, do the following:

⦁ Create a text file by opening Notepad

⦁ Go on the following link and copy/paste the code into the text file:

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

⦁ Then save as RemoveOneDrive.bat and exit

⦁ Run the script with admin rights and One Drive will be gone

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

And it works, I just did it.
